Once, you have completed the New Believer’s experience…

You are now ready to participate in Water Baptism. Water Baptism is a public profession of your faith and commitment to live for Jesus Christ. Water baptism is also an outward display and celebration of your inward decision to trust Christ with your eternity. It's an act of obedience, a step of acknowledgement that is representative of the fact that Jesus died on the cross, was buried and walked out of the grave, alive, so each us can have eternal life. 

​When you step into the water you are letting the world know that you have walked into a new life of faith in Jesus Christ and that you are committing to follow Him on an exciting new journey. If you have made the decision to follow Jesus and completed the new believer's experience, baptism is the next step in your spiritual journey. 

​​Baptism Process...

To participate in believer’s baptism, please complete the water baptism application. Upon completion, you will be notified when the next water baptism orientation will take place. Water baptism usually takes place quarterly and includes the water baptism orientation which prepares you for the actual baptism experience or step. The orientation takes place a week before the baptism is scheduled. Water baptism normally takes place during the Sunday Worship Service or at a scheduled date and time which will be announced by the church. We will notify you if the date and location is changed. 

Baptism Experience...

​​You will be carefully immersed in water by one of our experienced Pastors. The water itself is not special, but a demonstration that you no longer are your old self or living a doomed life in sin; your sins and transgressions are forgiven; old things are passed away; you are a new creation in Christ; and now resurrected in Christ and walk in His power, purpose and love.

You have now entered into a treaty or covenant with Jesus Christ and have become an ambassador or representative of Him. This process can be summed up as termination, transformation and transition (3T experience). Baptism does not bring about this 3T experience. However, it simply declares, celebrates and publicly communicates it to everyone; who you are, whose you are and what you are; a follower of Jesus Christ.
