​2,000 years ago, the most electrifying figure in History, Jesus Christ, was born in a manger. Though he came into the world in a humble way, to an everyday couple, Mary and Joseph that small baby was God’s answer to humanity’s desperate need for salvation.

Doomed by our sin, we were separated from God and cut off from the richness of His blessings. God modeled great love for us, wrapped Himself in humanity and came to earth as a simple man — Jesus. He lived and dwelt among us and eventually sacrificed Himself, all because of His great love for people. The cost of our sin was His life, and He gave it that we might receive salvation through Him.

John 3:16, one of the most powerful scriptures, illustrates just this, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only son. That whoever believes in Him, will not perish but have everlasting life.”

Jesus became the life line (life giver and savior) for all people and the bridge between people and God so that we can have a relationship with the Father. He is our Savior, healer, friend and our Lord!

Jesus came that we might have a more abundant life (John 10:10). He came to carry our weaknesses, our sickness, our pain, so that we can walk in total freedom, peace, power and purpose.

Jesus is absolutely much more than a historical figure or a great master teacher who teaches us life and Godly principles. He conquered death so that we might live. We don’t have to earn His love and salvation, its’ a free gift available to all who will believe. Jesus wants to have a personal relationship with us. All we have to do is receive it by faith, and come to Him just the way we are.
