AT HIS HARVEST WE KNOW WHOM WE BELIEVE!

  • ​The Bible Inspired—At His Harvest, we believe in the Bible (Old & New Testaments) to be the inspired and infallible Word of God, the original manuscripts, of which were verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit and are thus inerrant. We accept the Bible as our only trustworthy authority for faith, life, and in all matters to which it speaks. (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:20, 21; 1 Thess. 2:13; John 10:35b)


  • The One True God—At His Harvest, we believe in one living and true God who is perfect, infinite, eternal and who exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Gen. 1:1; Matt 28:19)
  • The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ—At His Harvest, we believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His Virgin Birth, sinless life, miracles, and in His atoning death on the cross for sin. We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ and His ascension into heaven. (John 1:1-5, 14; Phil 2:5-8; 1 Pet.1:18, 19; 1 Cor. 15:3-5)
  • The Holy Spirit—At His Harvest, we believe that the Holy Spirit is a person, co-equal with God, and sent from God the Father to convict the world of sin, to regenerate, indwell, guide, teach and empower the believer to live a mature Christian life. (John 16:7-13; 1 Cor. 2:10-13; Gal. 5:16)​
  • The Gifts of the Holy Spirit—At His Harvest, We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of all Biblical gifts of the Spirit according to the instructions given to us in (1 Cor. 12-14)
  • The Fall of Man—At His Harvest, we believe that all persons are born with a sin nature and therefore separated from God. We believe the only provision for sin is the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Rom. 3:23; Rom. 5:12,18-19; 1 Cor. 15:3-5)
  • Salvation—At His Harvest, we believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. (Eph. 2:8-9)
  • The Church and Ministry—At His Harvest, we believe that the church is the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:12-27) for habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of the great commission. The church is divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry for the following purposes: The evangelization of the world, the edifying of the Body of Christ and to worship God (Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:18-20; John 17:8; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 Corinthians 12:28, 14:12).
  • Baptism in Water— At His Harvest, we believe in Baptism as a sacrament, practiced to demonstrate that an individual life has been transformed by salvation through Jesus Christ. It is not a substitute for salvation, but a public recognition that salvation has transformed an individual life. At His Harvest we believe baptism can only be made by a man, woman or child with the capability of understanding what salvation means. We call it believer’s baptism or water baptism (because it involves immersion in a body of water). There is nothing wrong with dedicating an infant or young child to God, but it doesn’t take the place of that child’s eventual need to make his or her own decision for Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 10:47, 48; Romans 6:4)
  • Holy Communion—At His Harvest, we believe in the Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements—bread and the fruit of the vine—is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:4); a memorial of His suffering and death (1 Corinthians 11:26); and a prophecy of His second coming (1 Corinthians 11:26); and is enjoined on all believers until He returns.

 ​​​Statement of Belief/Faith:


At HIS Harvest, we believe that Jesus is Lord, and a personal relationship with Him is essential to obtaining eternal life. We sincerely believe that once Jesus enters a person's heart and they embrace Him as Lord (or He rules as Lord), a complete transformation (metamorphosis) transpires. As a result a persons purposes, attitudes, relationships and perspectives all change. In essence, we believe that Jesus is the bonafide answer to the inhumane and diffiuclt conditions which confront humanity today.
